Shasta-Trinity National Forest
Shasta-Trinity National Forest is in Northern California.
In 2008 the Lime Complex Fire, Iron Complex Fire, Cedar Fire, and Lightning Complex Fire burned thousands of acres of trees, leaving large areas so devastated that the trees can't regenerate themselves.
If you received your tree after April 1st 2011, your tree will be a Ponderosa pine, Jeffrey pine, Incense cedar, or Douglas fir, planted by us in the early Summer of 2012.
