Tree Updates and Photos

A few weeks ago we drove up through Yellowstone (right before the shut down-phew!) to Gallatin National Forest to visit our most recently planted trees.

We took photos of some of the 1604 Lodgepole pine, Douglas fir and Engelmann spruce trees planted this summer.

Shasta-Trinity Tree Update

Shasta-Trinity-Tree

In 2008 the Lime Complex Fire, Iron Complex Fire,  Cedar Fire, and Lightning Complex Fire burned thousands of acres of trees, leaving large areas so devastated that the trees can’t regenerate themselves.

This summer we planted 2365 Ponderosa pine, Jeffrey pine, Incense cedar, and Douglas firs to help restore these areas.
