We recently visited the U.S. National Forest
Service tree nursery in Placerville, CA.
This is where all our tree babies for this year’s planting in Shasta-Trinity are being raised with the utmost care.
Seeds are harvested from healthy trees just outside fire burned areas, so the babies are the same species as the burned trees, and will already be adapted to the perfect climate and elevation.
