For all Tree Gifts, we're returning to our "Following Summer" way of scheduling our tree planting. You see, for the last few years we've been dedicating our trees on a (mostly) calendar year basis. So, for example, the trees dedicated in 2024 were all planted in the Summer of 2024. While we thought the "Calendar Year" way was better because folks could see the baby tree photos and location maps sooner, the way we were estimating the trees we'd need ahead of time and funding the planting ahead of time really confused folks. From here forward all Tree Gifts ordered after the Summer planting each year will be planted the following Summer. While some folks will have to wait a bit longer to see tree photos and location info, we hope this change will simplify things and lead to less confusion.
