2026 Rules & Info
*ONE entry per person.
*This contest is for fun, and everyone is welcome to participate.
*This contest is for humans. If you submit an AI generated photo, you will be banned from this and all future tree photo contests.
*Please make sure the photo is one you took yourself, NOT AI created or AI enhanced, that the main object in the photo is a tree or trees, and that it doesn't have any copyright restrictions on it.
We reserve the right to not post your photo if one or more of the conditions above aren't met.
We reserve the right to use your photo on our website and in our email newsletters, but the photo still belongs to you and we will credit the photo to your name once prizes have been determined.
Prizes
Winners will receive an email by May 1st with details about how to redeem their prize. Prizes must be redeemed within one year. Prize trees can be planted in the name of the winner or someone of their choosing.
*Best photo in each category gets $100 credit toward Tree Gifts
*Honorable Mentions get $50 credit toward Tree Gifts (Honorable Mentions happen when a photo is a fairly close 2nd place in votes or the TFC team thought the photo deserved some special recognition.)

*Are you wondering why this isn’t this a “serious” photo contest, and why don’t we spend a bunch of money and time making this contest page fancy?
It's because we want to encourage the love of trees, and that means everyone is welcome to submit photos- not just artists or people with expensive cameras.
Trees and tree love are for everyone. Also, we are not a photo contest company. We are a tree planting company and that’s what we want to focus most of our energy on. 😉
