2023 was a busy year for us, as we planted over thirty thousand trees for celebrations and memorials. We also visited five previous planting sites to take updated photos.
We planted 29,015 trees in Sequoia National Forest
These trees were planted to restore some of the 151,000 acres of forest destroyed by the Rough Fire. Trees planted included Sugar Pine, Ponderosa Pine, Jeffrey Pine and Giant Sequoia.

These trees were destroyed by the American Fire and the North Fire, which burned over 23,000 acres of precious forest land full of Incense Cedar, Ponderosa Pine, Jeffrey Pine, Douglas Fir and Sugar Pine.
